The Villa Gualino consortium, constituted in 1990 by Finpiemonte and the Turin Chamber of Commerce, obtained in the same year leasing from the Piedmont Region for the whole complex and since then, whilst implementing regional development programmes for Villa Gualino, the realisation of many building works, from architectural restoration of the lower part of the Villa to the construction of new buildings for the scientific Institutes and the park modifications.
Since 1991 the Consortium, in implementing the Agreement drawn up with the Piedmont Region, has managed all the complex's ordinary and extraordinary maintenance services and the congress, hotel and catering facilities.
